工作許可 Working Permit

A:Students can take a part-time job in Taiwan, but only with a work permit. If students have violated the regulations and work illegally, they will be fined not less than NTD 30,000 and not more than NTD 150,000. Students are advised to take safer jobs.

A:You can apply for a work permit after you've obtained your ARC. Students will need to head over to OICA and obtain the payment slip and affidavit.

A:You should pay NTD100 at a post office to apply for a work permit .

A:According to the regulations of the Ministry of Labor:
1.For applying for a work permit, there are 2 periods: For applications made in the Fall semester, the work permit is valid until March 31st of the next year (Fall Semester: 1/10 to next year 31/3); for applications made in the Spring semester, the work permit is valid until September 30th of the same year (Spring Semester:1/4 to 30/9 the same year). The period validity of work permits is 6 months at most.
2. For Graduate students, the application time is only valid until June 30th of the same year.
3. If you plan to postpone your study and would like to work during the summer/winter break, you have to ask for a certificate issued by Registration Section, thus you may apply for a work permit between July/January and September/February. When you complete the school registration, you will be allowed to apply for the next period.
4.If you are enrolled in spring semester, your 8th semester will be indicated as 5th year in the Information System. Please refer to the above mentioned point 3 and follow the procedure.

A: According to Taiwan's regulations, since February 1st , 2019, overseas students have applied for work permits have been fully online application. After agreeing and obtaining consent with the overseas student in accordance with the provisions, the application for a work permit shall be delivered by electronic work permit after the approval of the Ministry of Labor. A:It depends on the announcement of the Ministry of Labor, the pay would be adjusted each year.
