Students & Career

Our department seeks to enroll a student body of diverse cultures, racial, geographical, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The number of foreign countries represented in 2015 exceeds nine countries, including the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mongolia. Students are required to take core courses in the first/second year. Having successfully completed core courses, students are urged to take discipline-required courses based on their interests from 3 domains of the field: international economics & banking, international enterprises & marketing, and international trade & regulations.

In addition to pursuing further study in related domestic graduate institutes, many of our graduates also choose to further their education abroad. Some graduates go into diverse fields such as international trade, international business management, international logistics, banking, finance, and marketing in the private sector. Other graduates choose to engage in the public sector through national examinations to become officers of international trade, finance, marketing, customhouses, or banking.
