Organization

The constituent departments are Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Information Management, and Communication Engineering, and the Department of Communication Engineering is the only one offering a master's degree program. In addition, the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Information Engineering offer doctoral programs. Faculty members of the Department of Information Management can conduct joint research with their colleagues at the College of Management.

To embrace the modern concept of life-long learning, the Department of Electronic Engineering and the Department of Information Management all sponsor evening in-service programs which allow presently-employed graduates from the technical and vocational education system to earn a bachelor's degree in three years. Graduates from general and vocational high schools, if currently employed, also have an opportunity to acquire a bachelor's degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Information Engineering, and the Department of Information Management under a 4-year evening program.
