【Update】In response to the current situation of the pandemic, the service education course on campus is suspended, and please refer to the announcement below for an alternative.


(Only applicable to international students with a student number starting with 105, 106, 107, 108, or 109 who take the service education course this semester)

Dear students,

Due to the severity of the pandemic, please do not enter the campus for the service education course. Please refer to the following for an alternative:

 

As usualSection I - Fundamental Knowledge (12 hours): (Available only to international students who are unable to apply for membership to Taipei e-Campus)

1.        Please log in to ISU Moodle (https://moodle.isu.edu.tw/) to watch videos under “Service Education-Fundamental Knowledge 2020” for at least 12 hours, and then upload your video-watching records to the Information System (Service Education Courses → Section I).

3.        To keep an accurate record of the number of hours you watch videos on ISU Moodle, please DO NOT directly watch those videos on YouTube or have YouTube automatically play another related video (in other words, you must return to the course list on ISU Moodle to select another video).

As usualSection III - Please complete an experience report and a survey on the Information System (Friendly reminder: Plagiarism will lead to a failure this semester)

 

Section II - Please write a post on your personal Facebook page or Instagram page to offset the required hours of public service.

1.      One post a day with at least 50 words on different topics can offset 2 hours.

2.      Posts should focus on pep talks for people in Taiwan during the pandemic, your preventive measures, interesting stories at ISU, etc.

3.      Please upload a screenshot of posts and the Application Form for Public Service Participation to the Information System for review.

 

Example: Student A is supposed to complete 16 hours of public service and has completed 10 hours.

How to do: Student A uploads a screenshot of the Application Form for Public Service showing 10 hours of public service to the Information System for review. And then, Student A writes 3 posts with at least 50 words each on the personal Facebook page and uploads a screenshot of the posts to the Information System for review.

 

Sections I, II, and III must be completed by Friday, June 18, 2021, 11:55 p.m.
