ØNewspapers Area
nThe Library offers newspapers both in Chinese and English, including: United Daily News, China Times, Commercial Times, Taipei Time, China Post, Asian Wall Street, USA Today, International Herald Tribune and Financial Times, and keeps newspapers for 6 months.
ØPhotocopy Area
nA self-service photocopier is available in the Photocopy Area.
nThis photocopier is for copying library materials only.
nThose who wish to use the photocopier shall buy a copy card at the Teaching Building beforehand.
ØCurrent Periodicals Area
nOnly management-oriented periodicals published within the current calendar year are available in this Area. For other kinds of periodicals or back issues, please visit the third floor of the Main Library.
ØWebOPAC
n“WebOPAC 2.0 Collection Search System” and “IPAC” are adopted to inquire about library collections and personal borrowing records.
ØInformation Access Area
nPublic computers are equipped for information searching, scanning and printing, and computer use is limited to 30 minutes per person. Please have your USB flash drive prepared to store data.

²One scanner is available in this Area for scanning library materials only.
nPrinting Services
²Printing services are available in this Area.
ØCollection Stacks
nCollections in this Area are from I-Shou International School. Those who wish to borrow shall first apply for a reciprocal borrowing card issued by the School.
nYou may borrow a reciprocal borrowing card issued by the School from the Main Library or International College Library.
nTo use reciprocal borrowing cards issued by I-Shou International School, please be noted that:
²Only one card is issued per person.
²Each card may be borrowed for a maximum of 21 days and can be renewed for once.
²Each card entitles the borrower to a 14-day loan period for a maximum of 5 books, and no renewal is allowed.
²Overdue charges of a card not returned on the due date is NT$5 per day.
ØLearning Center
nGroup Viewing Room
²A wide variety of films are screened at the Center every day. The Center also offers 14 different cable channels for students to choose from, including CNN, Discovery, National Geographic, Travel & Living, HBO, ESPN, NHK, etc.
nMedia Resources Area
²Public computers for language learning and testing.
²English periodicals for reading and listening.
²Multimedia computer system equipped with VOD (Video on Demand) System which gives students opportunities to learn online
nMusic Appreciation Area
²Students may listen to music at the International College Library. They may appreciate jazz, pop, classical, piano music and so on while feasting their eyes on the scenery outside the window.
ØStudy Carrels
n16 study carrels are available to the faculty and master’s and PhD students. To borrow study carrels, borrowers shall make a booking online (http://sys.lib.isu.edu.tw/study_carrels_EN/index.html), download and complete a Booking Application for PBL Room/Seminar Room, and then submit the application form to the Circulation Desk to borrow the room key.
ØDiscussion Area
nThe Library offers two kinds of discussion areas, namely PBL rooms and seminar rooms, to teacher, students and administration personnel.
nThose who wish to use a PBL room or seminar room shall make a booking online (http://sys.lib.isu.edu.tw/study_carrels_EN/index.html), download and complete a Booking Application for PBL Room/Seminar Room, and then submit the application form to the Circulation Desk to borrow the room key.
ØStudy Hall
nLocated opposite to the International College Library on the third floor of the International College, two study halls are open between 8:10 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
nDo’s & Don’ts:
²Do not take food and drinks inside.
²Do turn off your cell phone or switch it to vibration mode before entering the hall.

²Lockers are free of charge.
²As password locks are used, please follow the instructions on the locker door and make sure that it is properly locked. The Library will not be liable for loss of any items that you put in the locker.
²In case of failure to re-open the locker (e.g. having forgotten the locker password), please fill in and submit an Application for Master Key to Library Lockers to a librarian to open the locker. The Library will not be liable for any items that are falsely claimed due to an unclear description by the owner.
²Please do not put food, drinks or dangerous substances in the locker. Visitors must take their valuables and money with them at all times.
²Please remove all items from the locker before the Library is closed. The Library reserves the right to remove all items left behind after the it is closed. These items will be kept for one week only and then disposed of by the Library.
